N2  - This study explores the various problems and issues of international students on their adjustment in the Philippines. Specifically, it seeks to know the profile, reasons for studying in the Philippines, problems and issues on cultural adaptation and school adjustment, and coping strategies utilized in dealing with these problems and issues. It also investigates the significant differences among problems and issues encountered on cultural adaptation and school adjustment, and coping strategies when grouped according to age, citizenship, course, religion, sex, and school. A proposed counseling model is developed based from the data gathered from this study to serve as an intervention in order to address the problems and issues identified
