Cyrilo Bautista's shorter lyric poems are fragments of his autobiography. Bautista himself acknowledges life unending posssibilities thus, said: " Share and share alike, the boulevard is long ". The editor interpreted that the poems speak of " the journey  outward as having a corresponding reflection on the journey inward-that is the cycle of completeness; Nothing is lost everything has a place under the sun. These poems also reveals Bautista's skill in the use of of poetic forms.
