She is a retired faculty member of the Far Eastern University (FEU) where she taught various business and computer courses for 30 years, and was also the head of the Secretarial Department for 25 years. During her tenure at the university, she helped organize the FEU Business Center which has been the training ground of business students to complement their internship.
