The book is composed of articles about Philippine Print Media written from first-hand experience, reinforced with research, over a period of two decades. The slug at the beginning of each article gives the physical point of view. The slug also happen to name the principal institutions behind the Philippine press, places where learning, spirit and thought spurred Filipino reporters, editors and publishers to record for prosperity the events in their country. Throughout the book are pictures of the extant buildings where the national dailies were produced.
