This book gives the basic information about procedures and requirements for travel to the United States which are needed by immigrants, tourists, visitors, businessmen, students, nurses, professionals, and skilled and unskilled laborers. It is hoped that those who have no time or opportunity to inquire at the U.S Embassy and those who cannot afford to pay for the services or travel agents, real or false, will find this book helpful and effective as well as inexpensive. This book confines itself to common visa applications and the problems of persons who need them to go to the United States. Rare and complicated visa problems are not treated in this book. It is suggested that those relatively few visa cases involving legal and technical matters be taken up personally with U.S visa experts. --Back cover of the book.
