Summary: This volume is a sequel to the Research Report I (published in 1979) and Research Report II (published in 1983) which are granted by the Ministry of Education. It is to conclude the series of research projects which aim at clarifying the structure of the traditional society in the Philippines and making a synthetic study of the process of its socio-cultural transformation.
