This sourcebook examines the lives and philosophies of people whose contributions to experiential education are meritorious. It comprises thirty-seven papers which are considered valuable because the ideas expressed in the writings served as foundations of experiential education. Likewise, it introduces philosophers, educators, and other practitioners who shared their experiences on building knowledge, developing skills, and clarifying values by engaging learners in direct experience and focused reflection.
