the outbreak of the Philippine-American War. It discusses the important events, which transpired in Bicol before and during the American offensive. The book also reveals the manpower and materials that Bicolanos unleased for the conflict against the Americans. Details are plenty on the eventual American invasion of the Bicol Region and the encounters with Filipino defenders. The tale unravels up to the end of Philippine resistance and the surrender of Filipino combat commanders in Bicol.
This is a continuation of Elias Ataviado's narrative of the revolution in the Bicol Region. The book starts where Vol. 1 left off
