This is the story of Juan Luna, the first Filipino who became world famous because of his great talent in painting. He was born in Badoc, Ilocos Norte but lived many years in Europe studying and exhibiting his art. He was a close friend of our national hero Jose Rizal and other Filipino patriots whom he met in Spanish and Paris. He became very involved with the revolution against Spain but died before he saw an independent Philippines.
