The authors aim to inform mediamen regarding media law covering newsgathering, publishing and newspaper distribution and ownership. They also include laws on national security, obscenity, and contempt, both legislative and judicial. In particular, the authors concluded that the Philippine press is the freest therefore they try to instill responsible media.
