Summary: More than just s chronological listing of winners and winning paintings on the Shell National Students Art Competition (NSAC), this book had attempted to sum up the thoughts and emotions of the young Filipino artist as seen through their winning art works, to look through these, and endeavor to capture the spirit of the times. In a sense, this book offers an alternative visual narration of the young artist's incursions into the Filipino ego.
