Margaret Vizinau was born blind in rural Arkansas in 1927. She was a woman of great faith who dedicated her God given gift of singing to the Lord. 1950 she entered into an inter-racial marriage with a non-believer. This union resulted in the birth of two sons. After six years the marriage ended in divorce, forcing her to raise her two sons on her own. in the city of San Francisco. But she faced many challenges. She had four strikes against her. She was a woman in a man's world. She was a Negro woman. She was a single parent. And she was born blind. and her sons would be affected by the challenges of the times. These challenges included the civil rights struggle, black awareness, sexuality, drugs and violence. The streets were constantly calling. betrayal, religion and sin. It is recommended as adult reading and contains strong language.
