This edition was deliberately chosen stories from both Chinese and Filipino folklores which reveal parallel as well as unique features in their narrative types and motifs. They also reveal a lot about the differences and similarities between customs, beliefs, traditions, and even habitat of these two peoples. The author have recreated and retold these stories as the child who would like to have them told and retold, hoping that these will live or be relived in many young hearts and minds as they are kept alive. | ||
