Translation of the original Tagalog text into English was undertaken by Fr. Antonio-Ma. Rosales, the author of the present work. The manuscript under study is one of the treaties in the collection of catechetical writings which bears the title "Declaracion de la Doctrina Cristiana en Tagalog. Por N. hem. Fr. Juan de Oliver: Hijo de esta Santa Provincia de S. Gregorio de Religiosos Descalzos de N.S.P.S. Francisco en las Islas Filipinas."
