520 | _aThis research focused on the study of one of the renewable sources of energy, the wind. Low-Speed Windmill is designed to produce electricity from wind energy. It is primarily composed of vertical mill, shaft, planetary gears, generators, and inverters. The harnessed energy from wind is converted to electricity using permanent magnet generator (PMG). The converted wind energy is stored in 6V, 1.3A battery. Once fully charged, two 6V batteries can be connected in series as input to inverter for 220Vac conversion since most of the home appliances require this voltage to function properly. | ||
