MARILU RAñOSA-MADRUNIO (Ph.d. in Applied Linguistics, DLSU and M.A. English, UST) is a full professor of English and Chair of UST's Department of English. She has also obtained a post-graduate diploma in TESOL from the SEAMEO-Regional Language Centre, in Singapore and was a recipient of the 2010 EFL Foreign Educators Program in Georgetown University, Washington, DC, awarded by the US State Department. Currently, she is the President of the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP), the Vice President of the newly-established Network of English Language Teachers and Testers (NELT/T), an affiliate of the international Association for World Englishes (IAWE) and the Council for Department Chairpersons for English (CDCE) and the College English Teachers' Club and an English Trainer of the Foundation for Upgrading the Standard of Education (FUSE). Since 2007, she has been a member of the Technical Panel for English of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Her research interests in World Englishes, Contrastive Rhetoric, and Sociolinguistics motivated her to deliver papers here and abroad and publish articles in scholarly journals such as AsianEnglishes, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, the Philippine Journal of Linguistics, and UNITAS. She is also a contributing editor of ELTWO: Voices from the Classroom of the Centre for English Language Communication of the National University of Singapore, and a textbook writer for UST, Trailblazer Publications, Rex Bookstore, Diwa Scholastic Press, Inc. and coordinator for HS English Textbooks of ANVIL Publishing.

ANTONIO (M.A. in Language and Liteature from De La Salle University) is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Textbook and Learning Materials Committee in the College of Education of USt. She is a Professional Licensed Educator, a member of PAFTE (Philippine Association for Teacher Education), and serves as an Enrichment Facilitator in her College's Licensure Examination for Teachers. At present she is taking her Ph.D. in English with Language studies as her field of specialization of the UST Graduate School. RODRIGO A. LITAO (Ph.D. in Educational Management, summa cum laude, M.A. English, magna cum laude, USt) is Association Professor of English at USt's College of Science, and College Secretary of the UST College of Science where he also served as the immediate past Coordinator for the Department of Language and Humanities. He is also a former Director of the UST Center of Educational Research and Development (CERD). Dr. Litao's long years of experience as a teacher of English and as a school administrator include teaching at the Sisters of Mary International School where he served as Department Head for English, and Assistant Principal
