Summary, etc. About the Book If you want to know the basics of Journalism and Newswriting, then this book is for you. It is designed to simplify the rudiments of journalism reporting and writing from stright news to opinion and features-not only for high school campus papers but also for teachers of Journalism Elective, editors of NGO newsletters or village news, or simply anyone who wants to learn how to write like a journalist. Examples and exercises are meant to jumpstart the journalism training of the reader. The book also provides valuable tips for designing and publishing your campus paper. And for schools that do not have a budget for printing, a chapter is dedicated to online journalism, which aims to introduce the reader to the liberating world of internet publishing. About the Author Rachel E. Khan is an associate professor of Journalism at the University of the Philippines College of Mass Commnunication, where she served as its chair from 2006-2009.
