An OpenAthens account is a single sign-on identity and access management system subscribed by the library that provides seamless entry to all online resources. |

Here are the three easy steps to secure an OpenAthens account:

An automated message will be sent to your university email informing you of your username. Also, a link to set your password is included in the message.*Please read the instructions carefully. Once you have set up your password, you may access our online resources. |

Send a message to aklatan@dlsud.edu.ph requesting for a PlagScan account using your university email (Office 365). |

Send a message to aklatan@dlsud.edu.ph indicating the title of the article. |

Back issues of newspapers can be accessed from two (2) of our resources :

Yes. Please check the e-Books link. |

The library uses PlagScan to check the authenticity of your research paper. For undergraduate students, you may send your document to: aklatanplagiarism@dlsud.edu.ph while Graduate students may request for personal account thru aklatan@dlsud.edu.ph. Use “PlagScan Account” as a subject to easily identify your request. |

We do not allow photocopying of Theses collection, however, you can borrow a thesis copy that you can use within the premises of the ASC. |

DLSU-D A.I.R. is accessible thru the AEA-IRC website and through your OpenAthens account. Due to copyright issue, only the abstract can be downloaded. However, full-text can be accessed at the Theses Section, 3rd Floor, AEA-IRC. |

Yes, you may request for library resource/s by accomplishing & submitting the Library Resources Request. |

Yes, a student can borrow audio materials which can be used only in the preview area. |

Yes but depending on the type of resources to be borrowed. A faculty member can borrow two (2) EMS resources for overnight use only. |

Yes, a faculty member and a student can borrow EMS equipment for classroom/organizational/departmental events or activities; however, only faculty members may borrow an LCD projector. |

To reserve the viewing/meeting room, do the following:

During regular class days, the library is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Mondays to Saturdays). During Special Terms, it is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Mondays to Fridays) and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Saturdays) and during Semestral Breaks, the library is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Mondays to Thursdays), 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Fridays) and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Saturdays). Please check the AEA-IRC schedule. |

You can access the collection of the AEA-IRC through the following:

No. iPads are for room use only and can be borrowed for only 2 hours. Renewal is allowed for another 2 hours if there are no other users. |

The discussion room can be reserved by accomplishing the Discussion Room Online Reservation form. To check if your reservation has been approved, you may visit the Confirmed Discussion Room Online Reservation. |

Fill-out the Referral Letter Online Request form. The library personnel will send an e-copy of the referral letter to your email for you to printout. |

To get personal help from a librarian for your assignment, research paper and thesis, you may book a schedule with ARA by accomplishing the ARA Online Appointment Request form. To check if your request is approved, visit the Confirmed ARA Appointment Schedule. |

Yes, the AEA-IRC accepts researchers from other universities and institutions from Mondays to Fridays except Wednesdays, Saturdays and during major examination week. Please check our Guidelines to Visiting Researchers. |

Yes, depending on the type of resources to be borrowed. Collections of EMS, Serials, Reference and Special collections (IRC, Theses, Faculty Publications, University Publications) can be borrowed for room use only while collections from the Filipiniana, Circulation, American Learning Resource Center and Reserve can be borrowed overnight and/or one week. Please visit the Borrowing and Returning policies and procedures. |

The following are the maximum number of books that can be borrowed by a library patron across library sections:Undergraduate students/Senior High School – three (3) Graduate Students – five (5) Faculty members and Support Staff – ten (10) Please visit the Circulation services for further details. |
